In this article we tell you all you need to know about the different Banc De Binary expiry times that are available to you.
Banc De Binary uses a simple yet flexible expiry time system that helps traders have more control over their trading and be more flexible. You should know the specifics.
Which Banc De Binary expiry times are available?
While many brokers use fixed expiration times such as 30 minutes or 1 hours, Banc De Binary allows you to choose the exact time when your binary option will end in steps of 15 minutes. You can choose to end your binary option at 9:30, 9:45, or 10:00 for example.
This method gives you an endless amount of durations your binary option will run. You can invest in a 9:30 expiration time at 8:30 or at 9:29. Both options use the same expiration time, but have a fundamentally different character. In that way, Banc De Binary allows you to become a more flexible trader.
At any time, Banc De Binary offers you expiration times in steps of 15 minutes for the next hour. If it is currently 9:50, Banc De Binary will offer you 10:00, 10:15, 10:30, and 10:45 expiration times. After that, the interval increases to 30 minutes: 11:00 and 11:30.
The final expiration time is an end of day expiration time. For currencies and commodities, which are traded all day long, this means the actual end of the day. For stocks, which are traded during the opening hours of their home market, the end of day expiration time will be the closing time of their home market. The same applies to indices.
Stocks and indices might not always offer you the full bandwidth of expiration times. Sometimes, especially during times with low trading volume, using a short expiration time would not make much sense. In the situations, Banc De Binary might limit your choice of expiration. Since you would not want to use a short expiration time in an environment like this anyway, this is not much of a constraint, though.
